It's Friday (yes, I've got my day of the week right) and they're talking REALLY cold tonight. But then it seems like it's getting better (it must be, if you look at a weather forecast and go, oh, thank God, it's going to warm up to 32F in a few days you know you've been camping out in the deep freeze). After that, we might get a bit of real spring. Assuming anything survives the coldsnap enough to actually continue budding and blooming... sigh.
ANYway. Starting to look forward, much, to my trip cross country to the East Coast. Quite aside from a con which I enjoyed very much the last time I was there, I have the added bonuses of going in a day early and hopping into New York City for meetings with my agent and a couple of editors - and there might be an early draft of the art to grace the cover of the YA book, by the time I get there mid-March. I was hoping to have much more of Book 2 done before I went, but it looks I"ll be at least close to the halfway mark by that time - I can live with that.
Okay, then. TIme I *did* do some work. Back to Chapter 5. I have all those language experts waiting.
