Literary memery I could not resist...

A Facebook meme crossed my screen just now:

"Find the nearest book. Go to page seventy-three. Second paragraph. Third sentence down. (Keep going until you get to a three-sentence paragraph if necessary.)

This sentence will define your life."

HAH.

I reached out for two of my own - nearest bookshelf, just over my desk.

"The Secrets of Jin Shei" tells me:

"She was born to a family, not an Empire."

"Embers of Heaven" opines,

"They [his essays] began to be posted up on the walls of the classroom, examples to other students, an achievement which Iloh was vividly proud of."

All right. That's eerie.
