Yes, I know. We live in the future.

But this... this just makes me sad.

I am a handmaiden of books. This leaves me bereft. The students might learn more and learn faster, but will they ever again love what they learn, or love the process of learning? Can there ever exist, between a kid and a computer screen, the sort of relationship which happens between a young mind and a well-thumbed reference book?...

Colour me melancholy.
