Just came back from the theatre...

...where we went to see a show called "Highland Heath and Holler", and which consisted of a Scottish duo (fiddle and cello) representing the Highlands, an Irish duo (fiddle and guitar)representing the Heath, and a sole American representing the "old time music" of Appalachia as practised in the Holler.

Perhaps more tomorrow. For now, let me just say this - it is nights like this that make me realise that I live in a world which, despite its ugliness and greed and twisted ideas, is still capable of this kind of pure unadulterated joy. And tonight, I will glory in that.
