So, what do you think the most poisonous critter on the planet is?

(Just what IS it with Australia...?)

(And the stonefish, I kind of "met" it, as it were, by proxy - that time I went to Tahiti, us tourist types were CONSTANTLY told to wear water-shoes in the water and not to walk barefoot in the shallows. That stonefish critter, it's there, and it's DEADLY...)

Chris's best friend, and his wife, have been travelling around the world for a year. She's arachnophobic. She will not come to Australia - because of our spiders. Yet she was able to go to Arizona, the Amazon, trek through the jungle to Machu Picchu,and help build shelters in Peru ... but visit anywhere in Australia? Too scary, apparently.
