AHHH! My friends are such Cthulthu fans. They wave their hands under their chins and scream "Cthulthu kissess", and one has a "My Little Cthulthu" shirt and oh god...our Science Fiction club poster features Cthulthu... and NOW CTHULTHU HAS TAKEN OVER THE WATER!
As Cousteau called them : The Soft Intelligence. He did similar tests with a lobster in a jar in open water. Took about 2 seconds for the octopus to whip the cork out and have the lobster. I've wanted to see a giant pacific octopus since I was about 10, and I got the chance at the Seattle Aquarium. Totally awesome moment. It was pretty much a baby, just a 6 ft arm span, but still, totally awesome
Wah ... *squirms* .... that's so cool, and so kinda creepy at the same time. There's a little bit of me that is surprised that they haven't infiltrated our pipes and everything lol (ok, the water and treatments and lack of salt etc, but still!)
Comments
1) Cthulhu in a jar!
2) a short dialogue:
"You'll never escape my evil trap, bwahahahaha!"
"Don't bet on it -- they don't call me Houdini the Squid for nothing!"
...
I think I need more sleep.
I don't eat octopi. Too smart.
