The video itse;f didn't do anything for me but wow I would so LOVE to find out what that choral music was at the beginning and at the end--it was simply ravishing. Damn.
It's Vangelis - the soundtrack from "1492: the conquest of paradise" - the best thing about an otherwise mediocre movie. I love it too, and I own it - I rushed out to buy it after the movie, not because I liked the movie but because it made my heart soar.
Oh, thank you! Yes, I Must Have This Music. (I have a lot of soundtracks to movies that I would never see, or thought were bowwows, but the music was great.)
Er, I got stood corrected in your other thread - it IS, indeed, "The Mission", that one. But check out the Vangelis anyway. I think yuo'll like a lot of that.
